The initiative came to life when Sachin and Babi started off by building a design and embroidery brand, working for big names such as: Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Manolo Blahnik.

Driven by a desire to innovate with incredible craftsmanship and to connect with customers, the duo launched their own brand from a family-owned factory in Mumbai, which handles production from start to finish. The result is: ready-to-wear clothes with exclusive quality and refinement.

To bring greater confidence to consumers, Sachin & Babi implemented Sizebay’s Size & Fit Advisor.

The tool generates size recommendations following anthropometric principles that estimate the body measurements of each person and suggests an ideal size after referencing the estimated body information and the measurement tables provided by the brand.

This recommendation approach is fully personalized, and allows the brand to offer a unique shopping experience to its customers, with the possibility to try different sizes available and understand the fit of each piece on their bodies.

The tool was implemented in Sachin & Babi’s eCommerce in August 2021, which enabled one of the brand’s main goals to be achieved: for the shopping experience being offered to generate greater trust, and this allowed for doubts about size to be eliminated.

SACHIN & BABI’S RESULTS WITH SIZEBAY’S VIRTUAL FITTING ROOM

Sachin & Babi recorded a Conversion Rate growth 10.9 times higher than when it did not have the tool in their eCommerce.

This represented a total revenue for the brand of 19.7%, with the Size Advisor taking 18.7% of orders placed from January 2022 to August 2022.
