Sizebay is the only virtual fitting room in the world that provides size recommendations for lingerie and underwear garments. After implementing Sizebay’s Size and Fit Advisor in their online store, Intimissimi has had incredible results.

INTIMISSIMI

Founded in 1996, Intimissimi is an Italian fashion brand that belongs to Gruppo Calzedonia Spa, an Italian company with a global franchising network. 

An absolute leader in the European underwear segment, Intimissimi has won over shoppers with their Italian charm and sophistication, and quality pieces resulting from a lot of  research and design.

Intimissimi currently operates in 40 countries and has 1,390 physical stores. Intimissimi Uomo has 86 stores in Italy and Spain and, with their online store, has been able to reach even more customers

The online store has both women’s and men’s collections including various types of bras, panties, underwear, bodysuits, suspenders, and a special line for brides. 

CHALLENGE

Intimissimi, just as other great fashion e-commerce retailers, has a website with a lot of traffic and interested users, but they had the goal of increasing their conversion rate and reducing their cart abandonment rate. 

SOLUTION

Intimissimi deployed Sizebay’s virtual fitting room which recommends users sizes based on their inputted body measurements. Once a user inputs their data, the tool is able to use the same measurements to recommend sizes for all other items the user views. 

Besides accurately calculating the ideal size for shoppers, Sizebay’s virtual fitting room also lets users adjust sizes based on their fit preferences.

RESULTS

Intimissimi achieved 2.3% growth in revenue thanks to Sizebay. In addition, in sessions where users used Sizebay, the conversion rate increased from 2% to 10.2%.

Another key result was an average ticket increase of 8.1%. This is achieved because users are more comfortable spending more on clothes when they’re confident about the size they’re ordering.
